Sambalpur: Hirakud Dam authorities to release season’s first floodwaters from the reservoir anytime after 10 am today . The water level of the reservoir is increasing due to rain in the upper catchment areas and we are going to release the water for safety of the dam.
The authorities have also warned the people living near Mahanadi riverbed through loudspeakers.
