Bhubaneswar: Cyclone Fani, which hit Odisha coast on Friday morning with gusty winds and heavy rainfall, has wreaked havoc across the state causing major damage to Bhubaneswar airport, Kalinga stadium and major educational institutions.
The Biju Patnaik International Airport in Odisha’s Bhubaneswar was damaged as strong winds and heavy rainfall hit the city due to Cyclone Fani on Friday. Strong winds hit Bhubaneswar’s Biju Patnaik Airport, blowing off the rooftops, which lead to massive destruction.
Commercial flights in and out of Bhubaneswar airport to resume operations from 1 PM today.
