Paradeep: The Energy conservation week was celebrated at IFFCO Paradeep unit from 8th to 14th December 2021.
IFFCO Paradeep employees took pledge virtually through zoom meeting towards energy conservation. Unit Head Sh. K J Patel, said that “on the occasion of National Energy Conservation Day let us take a pledge to conserve energy in all our activities and leave behind a rich legacy of energy for the coming generations”. Energy conservation banners were displayed at various locations in plant & township. IFFCO Paradeep Unit conducted various events & competitions on energy conservation. A plantation drive was organized on 10th December, Sh Dillip Dash, Regional Officer, Odisha State Pollution Control Board, Paradeep, Sh. K J Patel, Sr.Executive Director, IFFCO & other senior officials planted saplings in the township. Painting competition, Photography competition, Slogan competition, quiz competition, Road show & mini marathon etc. were organized to mark this occasion.
Closing ceremony function was held on 14th December 2021. Unit Head Sh. K J Patel graced the function as the chief guest & felicitated the winners of various competitions organized amongst school students and employees. All senior officials, President & General Secretary of IFFCO Employees’ Union & IFFCO officers’ Association were present during the program .
