New Delhi: The Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) has sought a report from the Odisha State Election Commissioner (OSEC) over the incident of shoe hurling at Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik after a delegation of the BJD leaders met the CEC and apprised the official about the incident. The delegation led by party MP Pinaki Mishra here today met CEC.
“The CEC condemned the act and has sought a report from the State Election Commissioner”, said the MP Pinaki Mishra after meeting the CEC. The CEC has also directed the (OSEC) to ensure smooth conduct of the by-poll, he added.
