Two warships of Indian Navy arrived at Paradip Port

Paradip: Two warships of Indian Navy, INS Rana and INS Gharial, arrived at the Paradip Port ahead of the Indian Navy Day.

The Indian Navy threw open the two warships for public viewing on Sunday as part of the Navy Day celebrations scheduled on December 4. The public viewing will continue on Monday.

The visitors have to undergo a security check at the Gopabandhu Stadium. Later, they are taken to the port’s sssprohibited area by a special bus to see the warships.

Notably, INS Rana is a Rajput-class destroyer active in service with the Indian Navy since June 1982. INS Gharial is a Magar-class warship, one of the largest ships in the Navy.
