The two sisters are studying in Class II.

I was delighted to meet little braveheart Tiki (Mamata) and Basanti (Ashanti) from Bhitarkanika Bangual village of Kendrapara district today. The courage Tiki displayed in fighting a crocodile and saving her best friend and cousin is truly inspiring.

“She is a bundle of energy. I could not help but notice the twinkle of fearlessness in her eyes. While interacting with both of them, I couldn’t resist taking my first set of selfies with the little heros. My first attempt at selfie may not be as neat as today’s youngsters are able to take, but these ones will forever be among my dearest ones and close to my heart,” said CM Patnaik after the meeting.
