Bhubaneswar : To eradicate the nuances of shortage of Blood in Hospitals and Blood banks across the state, BJD, under the direction of Sri Naveen Pattnaik, has taken up the cause and has been successful so far to a great extent. Thousands of BJD party workers, common men, women, and students have participated in this noble initiative and donated blood across the state in the numerous camps organized by BJD on a regular basis. A total 406 units blood were collected in the campaign.
Inspired by the cause, Ollywood Actor & BYJD leader Smt Elina Dash has taken up the initiative to organize a Mega voluntary blood donation camp on 1st September 2017 at Institute of Engineers, Unit 4, Bhubaneswar. More than 1000 donors have consented to participate in the said activity. Many Ministers, MLAs, Popular Ollywood Actors & Technicians, Head Honchos of the corporate world, Women & Students shall also be present as guests.
As per the scheduled program, the inaugural ceremony shall commence at 9:00 AM with a ribbon cutting ceremony by Sri Pratap Jena, Minister Health, Sri, Tathagat Satpathy, MP, Sri Sanjay Dasburma, MLA & Sri Debasish Samantray, MLA, amongst other dignitaries, followed by a visit from the chief guest, Honorable CM, Sri Naveen Patnaik at 11:00 AM. The CM shall interact with the donors followed by a media address & start a signature campaign during his visit. Other dignitaries who shall be present in the ceremony are Dr.Nrushingha Charana Sahoo, Minister; Surya Narayana Patro, Minister; Sri Bikram Keshari Arukh, Minister; Sri Ashok Chandra Panda, Minister, Sri Damodar Rout, Minister, Sri Pradeep Maharathi, Minister; Sri Maheswar Mohanty, Minister; Sri Sashibhusana Behera, Minister; Sri Chandrasarathi Behera, Minister; Smt Snehangini Chhuria, Minister; and many other MPs & MLAs.
The organizer of this Mega Blood Donation Camp Smt. Elina Dash, who has attained popularity in the Movie, Mega Serial & Music Video industry, by now she has been acted as a protagonist in 6 Mega Serials, more than 500 Music Videos, 2 Movies, and numerous ad-films, thereby capturing peoples hearts. Since 2001 Smt Elina Dash has also taken up social service as her primary objective. People Oriented & Friendly party BJD inspired her to join the forum and effectively campaigned for the party in the entire districts of Ganjam & Gajapati. She has recently been appointed as the Observer for the electoral constituency of Gopalpur.
