Bhubaneswar: The State Government on Friday decided to sensitise internet users about the cyber virus and its prevention and other remedial measures through media.
A decision to this effect was taken at a high-level meeting under the chairmanship of IT Minister Chandra Sarathi Behera in the presence of Home Secretary Asit Tripathy, Crime Branch Special DG Bijay Kumar Sharma and experts of OCCAC, NIC and IIIT-Bhubaneswar.
Though the Cyber Cell of the State Crime Branch and the IT Department have come out with a list of do’s and don’ts and advisory, the WannaCry is gradually spreading its tentacles in the State.
