Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik paid rich tributes to Vyasa Kabi Fakir Mohan Senapati at his 175th birth anniversary celebrations. Hailing Fakir Mohan’s contribution to Odia language and literature, he stated that the Odisha Government has instituted the prestigious Fakir Mohan Odia Bhasa Samman to honour organisations and personalities for exemplary work in promotion of Odia language.
He stated, the state Government was sincere towards preservation, propagation and ensuring use of Odia language. In the recent Cabinet meeting held in Puri, many decisions have been taken for promotion of Odia language. The CM has directed proper and effective implementation of the decisions.
