Bhubaneswar: In wake of heavy rainfall & possible flooding/waterlogging, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik directed full preparedness to all Collectors. Highlights from the Chief Minister’s review:
– ODRAF and Fire Services ready for deployment
– Emphasis on safe fare for students attending the Independence Day parade
– Elaborate arrangement by Municipal Corporations to tackle water logging/ flood situation
– Emergency Operation Centres at State & District levels along with line Departments functioning round the clock
– Major rivers flowing below danger river despite 5% higher than average rainfall in the state
Chief Minister Shri Patnaik advised all agencies to coordinate efforts for tackling the situation efficiently and ensuring #ZeroCasualty
