Anti-incumbency become very strong in Odisha, people will give a fitting reply to BJD Government says Dharmendra Pradhan

Baleswar: Anti-incumbency become very strong in Odisha, people will give a fitting reply to BJD Government says Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. The recent elections showed that prolonged incumbency was responsible for the ouster of the existing State Governments. The same fate is awaiting the Naveen Patnaik-led BJD Government in Odisha in the 2019 polls, said Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan at a BJP rally held in the district on Friday.

Addressing a public meeting during the Jan Paramarsha Padyatra in Bhograi block in Baleswar district, Pradhan alleged that the BJD Government is the most inefficient and corrupt in the country and; thus, time has come to uproot this Government.

“Youths, women and farmers are suffering on account of failure of Government machineries in the State. The Government is dogged by PC (percentage) culture. Genuine beneficiaries are not receiving benefits of the welfare and poverty alleviation schemes of the Centre. They are not able to avail old age pension and housing scheme benefits without PC,” alleged Pradhan.

He said that while the Union Government has been pumping enough funds for construction of toilets and electrifications in rural areas, yet they are far from satisfaction in respect of implementation in Odisha. Due to non-implementation of the Ayushman Bharat, hundreds of people have been deprived of free health services, he said.

Pradhan wanted to know while Digha in West Bengal has become a famous tourist resort, why Talseri and Chandaneswar in Bhogai havr not become such tourist attractions till now. Pradhan also took a jibe at the State Government for the alleged sexual harassment of inmates and religious conversations reported in shelter homes of the Good News India.
