The Secretary emphasized mainly on three broad areas such as the process of starting deinstitutionalisation in the CCIs at district level in a small but intense way; to follow a step by step process in deinstitutionalisation for its proper implementation; strong monitoring and tracking of children who have been deinstitutionalised in order to know about their present status. By doing so, we can ensure a safe and secure environment for the child where a child can get access to all the necessary facilities to for his/ her overall development.
