Police Commissionerate, NLUO, IIIT Bhubaneswar are partners
Bhubaneswar: Recently Facebook and Cambridge Analytica are in news for alleged stealing of data of millions of users and thereby invading privacy and jeopardizing many people’s lives through leaking personal data. In this context, Mark Zuckerberg’s apology last week at the US Congressional testimony raises enough questions about our awareness and control over our cyber engagements. The Cybersecurity capacity building is now a priority for government and private players.
In this backdrop, the World Trade Centre (WTC) Bhubaneswar is organizing a one-day intensive Management Development Programme (MDP) on “Cyber Security & Data Protection in the Digital World” on 18th of April at CIME, Mancheswar, Bhubaneswar. The MDP module shall touch upon the social, regulatory and technical aspects of Cyber Security. This much- needed training is being delivered in collaboration with Police Commissionerate-Bhubaneswar-Cuttack, National Law University Odisha (NLUO) and International Institute of Information Technology, Bhubaneswar (IIITB). Resource persons and experts have been drawn from these partner institutes to provide a brief overview of cybersecurity and let participants learn the nitty-gritty about cybersecurity and data protection.
