Bargarh: Voting for Bijepur Bypoll begins amid tight security across 285 polling stations in the constituency. Over 2.32 lakh voters to decide fate of 5 candidates including BJP’s Sanath Gartia, BJD candidate Rita Sahu and Congress’ Dillip Kumar Panda who are in fray for the seat .
CCTV camerals have been installed at 14 polling booths. A total of 2,32,264 voters comprising 1,12,114 women, 1,20,135 men and 10 transgenders are expected to decide fate of the candidates.
Special provisions have been made for 2,750 Divyang voters to exercise their franchise. A total of 2,321 vehicles have been engaged for the poll.
