Bhubaneswar: Vice-President Venkaiah Naidu would visit here on August 16 to attend the first convocation of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Bhubaneswar as chief guest.
Home Secretary Asit Kumar Tripathy informed this on Saturday. Naidu would leave New Delhi by a special aircraft of the Indian Air Force by 8 am and land at the Bhubaneswar airport by 10.05 am and then would proceed to the AIIMS.
He would leave for Hyderabad by 13.40 pm by the same flight. The necessary securities arrangements would be made for smooth movement of the Vice-President. said the Home Secretary.
