Vice Consul of Japan, Kolkata visits Chandra Sekhar Academy

Report by Odisha Diary bureau, Puri: The ministry of foreign affairs of Japan organizes various exchange programs, JENESYS Programme (Japan-East Asia Network of Exchange for Students and Youths) being one of them. Under this program, they have chosen a rural CBSE school named Chandra Sekhar Academy in the suburb of Puri township at Balighai, in the Puri-Konark Marine Drive Road.  The school has been chosen for its relentless efforts in augmenting Japanese language & culture. From Nursery to St. XII & University level Japanese classes are organized here. As a result of all these, students here are used to attract attention of the Japanese community time and again. Pleased with the overall performance of the students, this time three students and a teacher have been selected to visit for an eight days trip to Japan under Jenesys Program. The whole schedule of events in Japan for eight days shall be furnished under the guidance of Japanese govt.  These made the school proud of putting few more colorful feathers into the cap of its success. Today (30/01/2017)Ms Manami Kato, Vice Consul of Japan in Kolkata along with her staff visited Chandra Sekhar Academy to greet  students and teachers for this rare opportunity. While answering media queries, the founder of the school –cum- International Tourism Ambassador of Kyoto Mr Kunna Dash said,  ”We have been putting all our efforts & energies together in the field of education to make our students prepare themselves for global exposure as well as for the modern challenges & competitions. I wish them all the best & happy journey.”
