Valedictory Session brings down the curtain on Enterprise Odisha 2019

Bhubaneswar: “ 22nd Edition of Enterprise Odisha 2019 – the largest cross sector exhibition of the state showcasing a huge diversity of industries across Odisha, has really lived up to our expectations, “Mr Sashi Shekhar Mohanty, Chairman, ER Mining and Metals Subcommittee; Vice President & Managing Director, Neelachal Ispat Nigam Ltd, said while giving an overview of the initiative at the 22nd Enterprise Odisha 2019 organized by CII and the Government of Odisha in Bhubaneswar today. Speaking on the occasion, Mr Mohanty emphasized on the exemplary work done by the Odisha government in terms of inclusive employment, developing of industrial infrastructure and appreciated the efforts of budding women entrepreneurs wishing them great success for their future endeavors. He acknowledged that the state has positioned itself as an investment hub, in sectors of mining, IT, electronics, agro & food processing and service sectors.

An award ceremony was conducted to encourage and appreciate the sincere efforts of the participants. Vedanta Alumina Ltd topped the list of Large Scale Industry, Best Stall Award; while, Agril Mach Pvt Ltd won the Best Stall Award for Medium and Small Industries. Manam Foundation won the Best Stall Award in Women Entrepreneur Category.

To encourage the spirit of entrepreneurship CII Yi Startup Awards were conducted. Novolutions Food & Beverage received Startup Of the Year Award, while Agril Mach received Social Enterprise of the Year Award. Felis Leo Ventures topped the list of Innovative Enterprise of the Year. Ms Tania was feliciated with Women Entrepreneur of the Year Award, and The Lokaal with Student Entrepreneur of the Year Award.

The Odisha Mining Show (OMS) was a maiden one and Yi Innovex was aimed at creating a sustainable impact in the state by fostering the spirit of innovation in young minds, showcasing and celebrating innovation and mentorship and scaling up entrepreneurship. The show concluded today promising to come back next year with more initiatives.
