Bhubaneswar: Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan urges Odisha Govt to provide land to ICT Mumbai – Indian Oil Odisha Campus, Bhubaneswar. Minister Pradhan said this while inaugurating Academic Session of 1st Batch of ICT Mumbai – Indian Oil Odisha Campus, Bhubaneswar.

Minister Dharmendra Pradhan urges Odisha Govt to provide 100 acre land freely to ICT Mumbai – Indian Oil Odisha Campus, Bhubaneswar. ICT Mumbai campus at Bhubaneswar in collaboration with the IndianOil; and the ICT-IOC Bhubaneswar campus was inaugurated by the President of India from IIT Bhubaneswar on March 18.

The main objective of the institute is to create entrepreneurs, who are job creators, and mentioned that the institute Mumbai branch has produced 19 Padma Awardees and 500 entrepreneurs since its inception.

This institute would ensure improved quality and industry relevance in curricula development in the field of chemical engineering, i.e., petrochemicals, textiles, polymers, foods, pharmaceuticals and energy, he added.

It would offer five-year Integrated MTech in Chemical Engineering and executive MTech in Chemical Engineering for working professionals and PhD programmes.

It would also setup ‘Centres of Excellence’ in various areas. In the first phase it would intake 60 students per year including 15 girl and five girls of Odisha.
