New Delhi: To address the issue of land cavings in residential areas in Talcher on 5th December 2018, Minister Shri Dharmendra Pradhan immediately spoke with and wrote a letter on 6th December to Shri Piyush Goyal, Minister of Railways and Coal to take urgent remedial measures including an enquiry into the incident. Shri Piyush Goyal ordered a team of DGMS, CMPDIL & MCL officials to take immediate remedial measures the same day itself. The matter will also be inquired to ascertain the cause of the incident and protect interests of the local community.
Shri Dharmendra Pradhan also met Shri Piyush Goyal on 7th December 2018 to discuss about the land caving issue and also thanked him for the prompt remedial measures to ensure safety and well-being of the local residents in the affected areas.
