Bhubaneswar: Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan inaugurates the Bhubaneswar New Railway Station & Mobile App on #RathYatra for commuters.

A third foot over bridge (FOB) at the railway station here, MEMU Shed at the Khurda Road railway station and PRS Counter at Bagala Dharmashala, Puri inaugurated and a Rath Yatra Mobile App launched by Pradhan. The MEMU Shed and the PRS Counter inaugurated through videoconferencing. An official release said three passenger trains Howrah-Puri-Santragachhi, Rourkela-Puri-Rourkela and Cuttack-Brahmapur-Cuttack MEMU would have stoppages at the Bhubaneswar New Station from Saturday on an experimental basis for a period of six months.

The Howrah-Puri Passenger would arrive at Bhubaneswar New Station at 10.56 am and leave at 10.57 am towards Puri. In the return direction, the train would arrive at 11.41 am and leave at 11.42 towards Santragachhi.

The Rourkela-Puri Passenger would arrive at the new station at 8.32 pm and leave at 8.33 pm towards Puri. In the return direction, the train will arrive at 6.43 am and leave at 6.44 am towards Rourkela.

Similarly, the Cuttack-Brahmapur MEMU would arrive at the station at 5.53 pm and leave at 5.54 pm towards Brahmapur. In the return direction, the train would arrive at 10.35 am and leave at 10.36 am towards Cuttack. The timings and stoppages for these passenger trains at other nominated places will remain unchanged, said an official release.
