The Indo-US relationship is the most important bilateral ties today. There is global anxiety on Modi-Trump equation. The US President has already extended a warm welcome to PM Modi and has called him a ‘true friend’. A lot remains to be seen on how this important relationship is going to unfold. Trade, Terrorism and Technology may be the 3T focus of this dialogue. PM Modi may touch upon the importance of this relationship.
The Prime Minister may also touch upon the issues related to farmers, monsoon and GST. He is likely to address children to get ready for the new school session and congratulate those who have successfully completed their studies and are entering into higher studies or the job market.
One important development since last Mann Ki Baat is the selection of Ramnath Kovind as the ruling coalition’s Presidential candidate. He may speak a few lines about him.
