Bhubaneswar: Witnessing the high number of ticket bookings during this festive season in regular trains and getting long waitlist position, East Coast Railway is providing Special Trains towards different destinations of the country to make the journey of passengers hasslefree. In view of the above, Indian Railways is running many Special trains on busy routes connecting popular destinations from and through East Coast Railway jurisdiction, apart from augmenting additional coaches in regular trains.
Now, in view of continuous rush towards different destinations and demands from General public to run trains towards Amritsar for 550th Birth Anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji and towards Bangalore and Bhopal, ECoR has planned to run a Suvidha Special Train between Bhubaneswar and Bangalore and between Puri and Bhopal.
PURI-AMRITSAR SPECIAL TRAIN FOR 550TH BIRTH ANNIVERSARY OF GURU NANAK DEV JI
08427/08428 Puri-Amritsar-Puri Special Train will leave Puri at 2335hrs on 9th November, 2019 (Saturday) and will reach at Amritsar at 2330hrs on Monday. In the return direction, this train will leave Amritsar at 2345hrs on 12th November, 2019 (Tuesday) and will arrive at Puri at 2230hrs on Thursday.
This train has 02 AC-3 Tier, 05 Sleeper Class, 11 Second Class Seating and 02 Guard cum luggage vans in its compositions having stoppages at Khurda Road, Bhubaneswar, Dhenkanal, Angul, Rairakhol, Sambalpur, Bargarh, Balangir, Titilagarh, Kantabanji, Khariar Road in East Coast Railway jurisdiction and important Stations between Puri and Amritsar via Raipur, Anuppur, Shahdol, Katni Murwara, Jhansi, Agra, New Delhi, Ambala Cant & Ludhiana.
PURI-HABIBGANJ (BHOPAL) SPECIAL TRAIN
Services of 01661/01662 Habibganj-Puri-Habibganj (Bhopal) Special Train train now running will be extended up to November last week. This train is leaving Habibganj at 0720hrs on every Tuesday and arriving at Puri at 1000hrs on every Wednesdays. In the return direction, this train is leaving Puri at 1500hrs on every Wednesday and reaching at Habibganj at 1525hrs on every Thursdays. This train is running via Bhubaneswar, Angul, Sambalpur City, Jharsuguda Road, Raigarh, Bilaspur, New Katni, Jabalpur and Itarsi having One 1st cum 2nd AC, One AC-2 Tier, 03 AC-3 Tier, 11 Sleeper Class, 02 Second Class Seating and 02 Guard cum luggage Vans in its composition.
BHUBANESWAR-BANGALORE SUVIDHA SPECIAL (ALMOST 24 HOURS JOURNEY).
82843/82844 Bhubaneswar-Bangalore-Bhubaneswar Special Train will leave Bhubaneswar at 2305hrs on every Monday between 4th to 25th November, 2019 and will reach at Bangalore at 2355hrs on the following days. In the return direction, this train will leave Bangalore at 0540hrs on every Wednesday between 6th to 27th November, 2019 and will arrive at Bhubaneswar at 0730hrs on the next days.
This train has 04 AC-3 Tier, 09 Sleeper Class, 03 Second Class Seating and 02 Guard cum luggage vans in its compositions having stoppages at important Stations between Bhubaneswar and Bangalore.
