New Delhi: The Annual India MICE Awards for the year 2016-17 has been held today at New Delhi. This is the most prestigious recognition platform in the corporate Meetings, Incentives, Conference and Events Industry of India.Mr. K J Alphons Minister Of State, Independent Charge Ministry Of Tourism Govt of India graced the occasion as the chief guest as gave away the awards.
Tenth Planet Group has been recognised as the BEST MICE START UP for this year.
This organisation was founded last year by Mr.Shivdutt Das who is born and brought up in the state of Odisha and is a promising brand today in international tourism space.
After a successful stint with major multinationals like Bharti, Tata and Reliance last year he stepped down from his job of Executive Vice President with Anil Ambani Group and founded this company.
Today Tenth Planet Group has its presence in New Delhi, Mumbai & Kolkata apart from Partner offices at London, United States and Amsterdam.
Talking to the press Shivdutt said: “We are only a Start Up by vintage otherwise we are today amongst the big boys in the trade and aiming to touch our 100 Cr ambition in next 12 to 18 months. We have overachieved our Half Yearly Numbers and confident of making a splendid finish of this financial year”
Asked about valuation of the company and scope of raising funds he answered “we are not looking at any dilution at this stage and the way public markets are behaving we might aim at that at the most appropriate time, however nothing in near future”
