Bhubaneswar: The temperature dipped below 15 degrees Celsius at as many as 17 places in the State during the last 24 hours , said the Regional Office of IMD here on Wednsday. The night temperature at Sonepur dropped to 8.8 degree Celsius, making it the coldest place in the State. It was followed by Phulbani at 9.0 degree, Daringbadi 10.5 degree and Bhawanipatna 11.5 degree, Keonjhar 12.2, Baripada 12.5, Talcher 12.3 and Koraput 12.6.
Sundargarh 13.0 , Boudh and Bolangir 14 degree each, Cuttack 14.2 , Titilagarh 14.5 degree C, Chandbali 14.6 degree C and Sambalpur recorded 14.6 degree.
The capital city of Bhubaneswar had a temperature of 15.0 degree.
