Joda: With an objective to inculcate leadership quality among the rural youths and to develop their interpersonal skills, Tata Steel Rural Development Society (TSRDS) sent a total of 40 youths of Joda, Khondbond, Guruda, Jurudi, Bichakundi and Hersabeda to participate in a three-day Outdoor Leadership Camp scheduled at Tumung, Jamshedpur from February 28, 2020 to March 1, 2020.
Mr Anil Oraon, Head, Administration, OMQ Division, Tata Steel flagged-off the batch in the presence of Mr Tanmay Kar, Unit Head, TSRDS and other officials of TSRDS on February 27, 2020 from TSRDS Office, Joda.
In the camp, the youth will be exposed to various activities like rock climbing, obstacle race, flying fox, rapling, point to point navigation, caving and trekking expeditions with an objective to develop skills on leadership and team work. All the activities are carried out under the guidance of experienced instructors of Tata Steel Adventure Foundation (TSAF).
It may be noted here that Tata Steel has been organising such outdoor leadership camps in all its operational areas for engaging the youths on a regular basis.
