Bhubaneswar : Shri Tarun Kapoor, Secretary, Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas, Government of India visited STPI ELITE Building, Bhubaneswar to see the secondary Data Centre of Directorate General of Hydrocarbons (DGH) which is set up at STPI building for secured data Repository to preserve and disseminate petroleum exploration and production data of the country.
During his visit to DGH, he also saw other STPI facilities at STPI ELITE and discussed with Shri Manas Panda, Director, STPI-Bhubaneswar. During discussion, Shri Panda briefed him about the seminal role played by STPI in terms achieving quantum jump in IT exports, building next wave of budding entrepreneur through STPI CoEs and future roadmap of STPI for boosting Innovation and creation of IPR and promotion of Startups. He was shown the Electropreneur Park (ESDM Incubation), Fab Lab, STPI Tier III Data Centre and appreciated efforts of STPI for promoting IT and Startup culture in the State and the country.
Shri Kapoor was accompanied by Chairman, IOCL, Shri S.M Vaidya and ADG, DGH, Dr. C. Laxma Reddy.
