Suspension of seven Congress Lok Sabha MPs revoked by Speaker Om Birla

New Delhi: Suspension of seven Congress Lok Sabha MPs has been revoked by Speaker Om Birla. They had been suspended on charges of gross misconduct in the House.

Earlier on the day LokSabha proceedings were adjourned till 12:30 p.m. as Congress members raised slogans demanding revocation of expulsion of its seven MPs.

An all-party meeting held in the chamber of LokSabha Speaker Om Birla over the issue of the smooth functioning of the House. The meeting was presided by Speaker.
