Bhubaneswar: State Cabinet decides to amend Odisha Universities Act’ 1989. Now teaching staff to be recruited through OPSC .
Odisha Cabinet approves a proposal to increase the tenure of Vice Chancellors of Universities in the State to four years.
OPSC will select teachers for universities whereas non teaching staff will be recruited by the State Selection Board under Higher Education department informed Odisha Chief Secretary Asit Tripathy.
