Social Organisations and NGOs meet to discuss Strategy to fight 2nd wave of Covid-19 in Ganjam, Odisha

Berhampur: More than 22 NGOs of Ganjam district gathered and had discussion on the future strategy to fight against the 2nd wave of Covid19.

The meeting held at ECOs eye hospital with full coordination support from Dr. Mihir Ku. Bal of ECOs.

The NGOs discussed on the fight against Covid19 last year with full vigour and also support to Odisha government and Ganjam district administration. They discussed regarding their activities like Meal, Sugam, awareness on covid appropriate behaviour, support to ultra poor families in Ganjam district of Odisha.

Looking at the 2nd wave of Corona spread across the country and also in Odisha and also in Ganjam the NGOs in Ganjam have resolved to

1. Create community awareness and among people on Covid19 appropriate behaviour including masking, social distancing, avoid mass gathering and follow the personal hygiene.

2. Decided to work on behaviour change for personal hygiene and appreciate bahavior among the general public in their respective field areas.

3. To provide full possible cooperation to the state government and district administration to fight against the Covid19.

Among the civil society leaders Lokanatha Mishra, Mangaraj Panda, K Anand, Brundaban Panda, Rabindra Patra, Mochiram Nahak, Alaka Sahu, Suresh Ch Sahu, Saroj Ranjan Patnaik, Dhirendra Nath Panda, Aruna Ku Satapathy, Gokul Ch. Das, Arun Ku Patra, Ranjita Das, Ratan Misra, Tirupati Balaji Patra, Girish Ch. Behera, Namita Raut, Aarati Behera, V Rabi Ku Gupta and Bibhu Prasad Sahu present this meeting.
