Sanitisation of villages and distribution of masks by Adani foundation

Dhamra: Adani Group’s CSR part-Adani Foundation has been working hard to prevent the outbreak. Health care facilities are being provided along with food distribution to alleviate the food shortages of the vulnerable and economically disadvantaged people in the villages around the port periphery and rail corridor. Two mobile vans have been deployed for a month to inform and warn people about the Coronavirus. Awareness programs are still continuing in 25 villages with the help of Suposhan Sangini. More than 10 thousand masks have been distributed in rural areas to raise awareness about sanitation. Self-help groups and volunteer tailors of Dhamra, Koithagola, Dosinga, Karmali Gram Panchayat in Bhadrak district, ASDC trainers at Baripad and members of Sangini groups have been deployed for mask preparation. All of this has been distributed in the villages near the port for about 15 days. In addition to this, Dosinga, Dhamra, Jagula, Kaithal, Daba, Karanjmal, Karanpalli, Balimunda and other places are being sanitized by the Adani Foundation on a regular basis. The work would continue until the situation was under control, said Adani Foundation

Adani Foundation has declared Rs 100 crore and Rs 4 crore from the staffs to Prime Minister’s Care Fund. In addition, Rs 10 lakh has been provided to the district administration to control the corona situation in Bhadrak district.
