Rs 5 crore aid to #Biharflood victims from Madhya Pradesh

Bhopal : Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Cooperatives Shri Vishwas Sarang today entrusted a cheque of Rs 5 crores on behalf of Madhya Pradesh government for flood victims to Bihar Chief Minister Shri Nitish Kumar in Patna. Bihar’s Deputy Chief Minister Shri Sushil Kumar Modi and MLA Shri Sanjeev Chourasia were also present on the occasion.

MoS Shri Sarang who reached Patna on the directives of CM Shri Chouhan informed Bihar Chief Minister Shri Nitish Kumar and Deputy Chief Minister Shri Sushil Modi about various schemes being run in Madhya Pradesh for farmers welfare and development.

MoS Shri Sarang told Shri Kumar that Agriculture Development Rate of Madhya Pradesh was constantly on the rise. Madhya Pradesh government has made effective efforts for environment and river conservation. Shri Sarang also told about the programmes being run to strengthen Gramin Sahakari Saakh Samitis and to increase activities of cooperatives and related institutions in Madhya Pradesh. Shri Sarang gave information about other schemes run by various departments and spoke in favour of fast developing Madhya Pradesh to Bihar CM Shri Nitish Kumar. Shri Kumar lauded various schemes of MP and thanked Madhya Pradesh for its assistance to Bihar flood victims.
