Bhubaneswar: The Rotary Club of Bhubaneswar Heritage celebrated its Installation Ceremony at Institute of Hotel Management Auditorium , VSS Nagar, Bhubaneswar on 1st July, 2018 evening. Sj. Sarat Kumar Dash, IRS, Commissioner of Income Tax, (Appeals) Bhubaneswar graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and praised the work done by the Rotarians. For the year 2018-19 Rtn. Bishnu Mohan Mohanty took the charge as the President and Rtn. Basanta Kumar Sahoo as the Secretary of the Club. After taking the responsibility Rtn. Bishnu Mohan Mohanty, President of the Club informed that Rotary work for the community service projects will be continued in more numbers and it would be extended to the needy people. PDG Rtn Rabinarayan Nanda, IAS (R) was also present on the occasion inducted 5 new members; among others Sj. Sarat Kumar Dash, IRS, Commissioner of Income Tax, (Appeals) Bhubaneswar also joined as new member of the HERITAGE Club. Chartered President Rtn. Debabrata Panigrahi, Past President Santanu Kumar Mishra also present on the occasion & appealed the Rotarians to devote some more time for the downtrodden part of the society . Besides briefing the last year’s performance of the Club, the Secretary Sri Sahoo also informed that today morning our Club has started with 2 service projects, being Rotary New year’s day. We have conducted one plantation project at Royal Public School Campus at Kesura & 2nd project, provided food for 150 tribal children of Simadri Mishra Janajati Chhatrabas, Mancheswar, Bhubaneswar.
The programme was followed by a grand cultural show and fellowship dinner.
As many as 120 Rotarians along with their family members present in the function.
