Bhubaneswar: RBI report on State Finances has cited the example of Odisha’s 3-stage approach to fiscal risk management. RBI says GoO has built up a sizeable CSF & GRF. State Govts maintain CSF & GRF with RBI as buffer for repayment of their future liabilities.
Chief Minister expressed happiness that acknowledging Odisha’s efficient fiscal risk management, Reserve Bank of India (RBI) report has highlighted 3-stage approach of the State Government along with setting up of a dedicated Fiscal Risk & Debt Management Cell in Finance Department, Odisha and a high-level Fiscal Risk Committee.
