Bhubaneswar: Eight new Rajya Sabha Committees constituted: BJD’s Prasanna Acharya to head the Committee on Petitions, Prabhat Jha of BJP Chairman of Ethics Committee, T Subbarami Reddy of Congress to lead Committee on Subordinate Legislation.
BID’s Rajya Sabha MP Dr. Sasmit Patra inducted into the Parliamentary Standing Committee of Privileges. MPs Amar Patnaik and Ashwini Vaishnaw were appointed as members of Committee on Subordinate Legislation and Petitions, respectively.
