Paralakhemundi: For the first time on the eve of Gajapati Ustav, RAHAGIRI observed with the coordination of district administration. To revive the traditional culture & heritage of Gajapati with all its flora & fauna, various folk dance; traditional dance; sword & stick play exhibition otherwise called traditional Paika Akhada; some glorious moment of dance & song by physically challenge persons; royal colourful floor painting by housewives; Gajamuhan dance (local festivals) & tribal dance shown before 5000 thronged participants at Palace street. Collector SMSamal, Sub-Collector Ranjan Biswal, Additional District Magistrate Dhrubraj Pandey, DPC of Sarva Sikhya Abhijaan Anaam Charan Patro, PA of ITDA Parikhit Sethy with Many more officials inspired the artists.
