Bhubaneswar: Raghunath Mohanty resigns from BJD citing personal reason. He was an aspirant for Basta assembly constituency.
“I was one of the founding members of BJD; I was forced to resign as the party deviated from the ideologies of late Biju Babu. The party is being run by a group with vested interests,” says Raghunath Mohanty after resigning from BJD .
Yesterday, he had resigned from the post of chairman of OLIC. He is an aspirant for Basta Assembly seat. It seems that party has made mind to nominate someone else for the seat.
