Bhubaneswar: Quality Circle Forum of India (QCFI) – a national professional body which works with an aim to improve, enrich and uplift the quality of work life – has set its footprints in the state capital with several organisations in Odisha coming together under one umbrella to launch ‘QCFI Bhubaneswar Sub-Chapter’ on 08th July, 2018 at Bhubaneswar.
Chairman of Bhubaneswar sub-chapter Shri Sashi Shekhar Mohanty, Vice-Chairman & Managing Director, NINL and former Director-SAIL, announced the Governing Council Members in the occasion which includes Dr. Santanu Kumar Rath, Director (Personnel), OMC Limited and others from different reputed organisations in the state like NALCO, NINL, Tata Steel, Jindal Stainless Limited, Centurion University, Visa Steel, Paradeep Phosphates Limited, etc. Shri Mohanty, who also inaugurated the QCFI Bhilai Chapter eight years before, said, “QCFI concepts are best tools which involves employees of all corners for the development of an organisation. QCFI Bhubaneswar will definitely work towards the betterment of the organisations present in Odisha.”
Shri G.P. Singh, Secretary and Shri Satyawan Nayak, PRO of QCFI Bhilai chapter played crucial role in formation of Bhubaneswar sub-chapter. With this, Bhubaneswar sub chapter – with more than 100 life members and 21 institutional members – becomes the 33rd chapter of the QCFI including Bhilai, Durgapur, Vishakhapatnam, Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai etc.
