New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi unveiled gifts for people of Varanasi worth Rs. 800 crore as part of his day long Uttar Pradesh visit along with French President Emmanuel Macron on Monday.
The Prime Minister laid foundation stone or inaugurated several projects at Varanasi’s DLW ground event.
Prime Minister said that he wants to take Kashi to a new level of development.
Among the gifts unveiled by the Prime Minister for Varanasi is a train which will connect two ancient cities which came up on the banks of the Ganges. This is the Varanasi-Patna Janshatabdi Express.
PM’S GIFTS FOR VARANASI
— Among the gifts PM laid out for Varanasi is the Manduadih ORB which will benefit thousands & give them freedom from jams
— PM also initiated the upgradation of the Lal Bahadur Shastri Hospital..the Rajatalaab Tehsil Bhawan and the Kallipur drinking water project
— PM also inaugurated two classrooms each at the SardarBallabhbhai Patel Rajkiya Degree College & the Girls Degree College in Direka
— He also unveiled the Ganga Darshan Guest House at the Kashi Vishwanath Temple & STF Bhawan in Police Lines
Prime Minister also laid foundation stones for nearly 20 projects.
Prime Minister mentioned his government’s two new schemes related to health and nutrition on the occasion saying both will benefit the poor the most.
Prime Minister praised the work done by Yogigovt specially its initiatives related to farmers.
Prime Minister also took in a Swachhta Exhibition put up by students on the occasion as part of the Kachra Mahotsav.
He had a lengthy conversation with students playing drums on the occasion.
He referred to the Swaccha Bharat Mission on the occasion and urged all to make it a people’s revolution.
Prime Minister also mentioned the Mirzapur solar plant put up with French help and urged the students to come up with a solution of the need for any kind of fuel for cooking.
Clearly, Prime Minister Modi is taking the nation towards the New India goal with commitment and he’s doing the same for his constituency.
