Praveen Kumar from KIIT wins Gold Medal in High Jump (T64 event) with a new Asian Para Games Record

Bhubaneswar: The 4^th Asian Para Games 2022 is being held at Hangzhou, China from 22^nd – 28^th October 2023. Representing India, Mr. Praveen Kumar from KIIT University won the Gold Medal in men’s high jump (T64 event) with an Asian Para Games record jump of 2.02M.

Praveen is pursuing Masters Degree (Sociology) and provided free education under sports scholarship at KIIT University, he thanked Prof. Achyuta Samanta for his constant support & guidance.

Prof. Achyuta Samanta, Founder KIIT & KISS and Member of Parliament Kandhamal congratulated Praveen on winning the Gold Medal & breaking the Asian Para Games Record and wished him good luck for his future competitions.
