Bhubaneswar: Congress leader Prasad Harichandan will continue as the Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee (OPCC) president till 2019 elections, informed OPCC Discipline Committee chairperson Sandhya Rani Mohapatra today.
As the AICC president Rahul Gandhi did not approve his resignation, he will head the State unit of the grand old party, Mohapatra added.
Prasad had tendered his resignation from his post as the OPCC president following party’s debacle in the recently concluded Bijepur assembly by-poll in Bargarh district.
