New Delhi: Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Dharmendra Pradhan Flagged off ONGC Everest Expedition 2017
In the Flagg off ceremony Minister Pradhan said truly impressed to meet the dynamic team of ONGCians led by the 5 time Everest climber Padma Shri Sh. Lavraj Singh Dharmshaktu. He said Ongc Everest Expedition a bold and out of box initiative by ONGC Limited that encourages the spirit of the employees.
ONGC’s initiative in mountaineering are unique for Indian corporate world. Associating with Indian Mountaineering Foundation ( IMF), the National Apex Body for Mountaineering and Adventure in India, ONGC has also taken up cleaning of Himalayan peaks which have known to been polluted because of unmindful leaving of plastic and other wastes on otherwise clean ranges and glaciers by the expedition.
