Participating Teams of Vedanta Women’s League unveils the jerseys for upcoming season starting from Feb.28

New Delhi: All 5 Participating teams of 4th edition of Vedanta Women’s football League unveiled their new jerseys for the season kick starting from 28th February. The formal Team introductions and jersey unveiling function organized at Duler Stadium, Mapusa in the distinguished presence of Chief Guest Mr. Churchill Alemao – President, Goa Football Association (GFA), Ms. Leena Verenkar, Group CSR Head, Vedanta Limited , Mr. Jovito Lopes- Secretary, GBA along with captains & team managements.

The upcoming 4th edition of Vedanta Women’s League will witness the participation of over 100 + aspiring women footballers from across the state. Vedanta Women’s league is proving to be a huge success in development of Women football wherein two of the star women footballers from the league Karishma Shirvoikar & Michelle Castanha are shining at prestigious National and international platforms.

Expressing his views on the occasion Mr. Churchill Alemao, President GFA said” “We at GFA are dedicated towards the upliftment of Football across the state through various developmental programs. Vedanta Womens league is one of its kind platform launched by GFA in Collaboration with Vedanta, is turning out to be another great milestone in our endeavor towards not only raising the standard of football but also extending the boundaries of football initiative. I congratulate Vedanta for partnering with GFA in devising this prestigious platform for Women footballers in the state. I am extremely happy & equally excited about 4th edition of Vedanta Women’s League”
