Paradeep: The Paradip Port Trust (PPT) and the Paradeep Municipality jointly organised a clean beach festival named ‘Aama Paradip’ under the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan for two days on Friday and Saturday. Jagatsinghpur district Collector Yamini Sadangi inaugurated the festival. ADM Biswajit Biswal, municipality chairman Basanta Kumar Biswal, PPT Secretary UR M Raju, Municipality Executive Officer Dillip Kumar Mohanty, IOCL DGM Srinivas Pattnaik, PPL chief Santanu Rath and prelude organiser Sanu Rath were present. International sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik was present as chief guest. Remembering the victims of super cyclone, Pattnaik made two sand arts. PPT and municipality employees along with NGOs members and general public cleaned the beach.
