OPJS’s student to play National Level Schools Cricket U-17 Tournament

Angul: The Students, Teachers and School Management Committee (SMC) of the O.P. Jindal School (OPJS) at Angul, celebrated the blissful moment today by felicitating Miss Namrata Raghuvanshi of class 10th on becoming the First student of the school to represent the Angul District and Odisha in the National Level Schools Cricket U-17 (Girls) Tournament 2017-18.
On this occasion, Angul Location Head and Executive Director of the unit Mr. Dinesh Kumar Saraogi, congratulated Miss Namrata Raghuvanshi and wished her all the best for the upcoming National tournament and hope the girls of Odisha will do wonder in the tournament and bring glory for the state.
Miss Raghuvanshi’s father Mr. Dilip Singh Raghuvanshi, is a proud jindalite and working in JSPL since 1996. Expressing his happiness over his daughter’s achievement, he said “we are very happy with the performance of our daughter and really thankful to the teachers and SMC of OPJS, for their all-round support, coaching and proper guidance to achieve her dreams”.
The National Level tournament is going to be held from 1st Nov-15th Nov, 2017 at Khandwa, Madhyapradesh.
Felicitating Miss Raghuvanshi, OPJS Principal Mr. Chhanda Charan Das not only expressed his happiness over the success of his student but also blessed her to emerge as a sports icon of the School and the District in coming days.
OPJS’s sports teacher Dr Rishi Awasthi, Mrs. Sangeeta Sharma, staff members and students were also present at the felicitation program arranged at school premises and wished Miss Raghuvanshi for a splendid innings in the tournament.
