Report by Odisha Diary bureau, Bhubaneswar: Well known odissi exponent Madhumita Raut received the prestigious Shashimani Nachuni Samprada Samman from Guru Pankaj Charan Odissi Research Foundation in a function at Rabindra Mandap in Bhubaneswar from Shri Manoj Panigrahi Secretary Culture Odisha on Friday. “I share with you that I feel honoured on receiving the prestigious Shashimani Nachuni Samprada Samman from Guru Pankaj Charan Odissi Research Foundation. Very emotional moment for me as my father Guru Mayadhar Raut also studied Odissi under the legendary Guru Pankaj Charan Das about 65-70 years ago,” said Madhumita Raut after receiving the award.
