Odisha to be the first State to do preparatory work for JEE,NEET and such competitive exams : Dr. Amar Pattnaik

Bhubaneswar: The public transportation system is badly affected with the recent flood situation in our state. Odisha Govt. has decided to facilitate transportation and accommodation for needy candidates appearing for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2020 and National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) exams. 37,000 candidates will be appearing for the JEE Mains at 26 centers in seven cities of the state.

Welcoming the decision, Dr Amar Pattnaik, Member of Parliament Rajya Sabha said, “Our CM has always been cognisant of the problems faced by people of Odisha. In this case, children were getting affected as they had to travel from interior areas to examination centers. Keeping this in view, all these arrangements have been made and all free of cost. This will go a long way in soothing the flayed nerves of the children and their parents while writing these entrance examinations. I doubt if any state has done so much preparatory work for these examinations”.
