Bhubaneswar: In the wake of outbreak of corona virus across the Globe, the Odisha State Beverages Corporation Ltd.(OSBCL) a Sate P.S.U. has contributed Rs.5.00 crore to the Odisha Chief Minister’s Relief Fund to augment the effort of State Govt. for containment of ‘COVID-19′ from spreading. According to a press released by OSBCL today.
Earlier during the month of May, 2019 when Odisha wrestled with the aftermath of severe cyclonic storm TANI’, OSBCL had contributed Rs.5.00 crore to the CMRF for relief and restoration work of the State and during the month of January, 2020 OSBCL again contributed Rs.5.00 crore to the CMRF.
This apart, OSBCL has deposited Fts.8.99 crore as dividend to the Govt. of Odisha for the F.Y.2018-19.
