Bhubaneswar: Odisha ruling BJD criticise party MP Pinaki Mishra for praising Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. BJD leader Debashish Samantaray on Sunday took a jibe at Mishra for praising Pradhan and termed such statements as ‘anti-party’.
It should be noted that the ruling-BJD’s Puri MP Pinaki Mishra on Saturday heaped praise on Union Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Dharmendra Pradhan at a programme here marking Micro Unit Development and Refinance Agency (Mudra) promotion in Odisha.
Praising Pradhan, MP Mishra said, Dharmendra Babu’s worst critics will also concede one fact that he is very hardworking and exceptionally competent. I believe there was no luckier Petroleum Minister than him in last 40 years. I wonder, how the international crude prices which were $140-160 a barrel in 2014 when he took over as the Minister, have thereafter reduced about $30-40 a barrel and even came down as lowest $20 a barrel.”
