Puri: In order to provide special treatment to tourists coming from across the globe to world famous Puri Shri Jagannath Dham, revamped and refreshed TEAM JAJABARA opened today at Pattanaikia near Sakhigopal on the Bhubaneswar-Puri National Highway. The venture was inaugurated by Sj. Ashok Chandra Panda, Hon’ble Minister Tourism and Culture, Govt. of Odisha. Amongst others, Sj. Umakant Samantaray, Hon’ble MLA, Satyabadi, Shri Panchanan Kanungo, Shri Anant Narayan Jena, Mayor, Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation, Smt. Sasmita Pradhan, Block Chairman, Satyabadi were present in the inaugural ceremony.
Team Group of Companies has now ventured into the Tourism segment. The culmination of this is the revamping of Jajabara, the wayside amenities centre of OTDC Ltd. at Pattanaikia, near Sakhigopal has now morphed into TEAM JAJABARA.
Speaking on this occasion, Shri Nishikant Mishra, MD, Team Admark Infracon, said that, “TEAM JAJABARA has been designed as a convenient stopover for tourists travelling to and from Puri, and a weekend getaway destination for families. Apart from this, we are going to position ourselves as a one-stop events destination for corporates and other business houses. Nestled in the lap of Mother Nature, away from the hustle-bustle of the polluted city atmosphere, it will definitely attract tourists to enjoy the best dine experience.
Both the ministers also appreciated the efforts of the Team Group and OTDC Ltd. for this new venture and one of its kind restaurants which will be a best one to attract huge crowd.
It may be noted here that, TEAM JAJABARA is Odisha’s first way side exclusive amenities centre. Currently two AC restaurants have been opened in the premises of TEAM JAJABARA. One is a multi-cuisine restaurant and the other one is a vegetarian restaurant. Apart from these two restaurants, Snacks counter, tourist celebration centre are also ready to serve to the tourists. Very soon it is going to offer the various integrated facilities including Comfortable Tourist Guest Rooms, Tourist Convention Hall, Tourist Celebration Hall, Swimming Pool, Ladies and Gents Washrooms, Children’s Activity Area, Handicrafts and Antique Shops in a phased manner”.
