Odisha: Police registered case against 6 persons for violating social distancing norms, making Tik Tok videos in quranitine centre

Tihidi : Tihidi police ( Bhadrak district) registered case against 6 persons for violating social distancing norms in a quranitine centre at Bhatapara and uploading the video on TikTok. This is informed by the Bhadrak SP.

Tihidi police books 6 persons u/s 188/269/270 of IPC and Sec-51 of DM Act for violating social distancing norms.

“Any conduct endangering safely of others in context of Covid19 will be strongly dealt with as per law. Our Hospitality of returnees does not mean leniency towards negligent http://conduct.My appeal to all retunees to follow the laid down norms while in quarantine,” said Odisha DGP .

According to reports, nine West Bengal returnees have been quarantined at the quarantine centre who have turned the centre into a fun club violating isolation norms and the group is making TikTok videos of their fun at the centre.
